Richard has over 20 years experience of adding value to businesses of all sizes by providing commercial HR solutions and expertise to people issues.
After an early HR career in manufacturing and retail Richard has been the HR Director of several businesses in the financial and professional services sectors. He has extensive experience of managing change and the related people issues that arise from mergers, disposals, restructuring and redundancies. Most recently he has supported businesses in rapid growth mode focusing on recruitment and development of management teams.
Richard thrives on helping businesses achieve commercial success through their people and he enjoys engaging with staff at all levels from the board room to those at the coal face.
With a BSc Hons degree from the University of London, Richard also has Post Graduate diplomas in Human Resources and Career Counselling. As well as supporting business with their HR and people issues Richard also sits on Employment Tribunals as a Lay Member and he has recently qualified as an accredited Employment and Workplace Mediator.
Since joining People Puzzles he has worked with a wide range of SME businesses employing from 4 to 120 staff including a growing manufacturing business, a digital marketing agency and a new start up in the luxury hospitality sector.
Any spare time that is left is used up by dog walking, photography and watching Chelsea FC.
