Cathryn is a down to earth and approachable HR professional with a strong entrepreneurial and highly commercial business acumen in both strategic and operational HR management and business transformation.


Cathryn grew up in a family-owned property business, Her Grandfather founded an independent Estate Agents /Auctioneers/Letting Agents and her Father was a surveyor who then took over the business. Cathryn worked in the family business from aged 15, weekends as well as School and University holidays, then working full time in the business, after leaving University, managing Residential Sales & Lettings departments – hence an ongoing interest in both property and entrepreneurial businesses!

Since then, Cathryn has accrued over 20 years, wide-ranging, Senior HR experience including Board Level roles in both FTSE 250 and other Blue Chip organisations such as William Hill, BUPA, Avis and TalkTalk. Her extensive expertise not only spans both the UK and Internationally but also into smaller businesses including Startups and Early Life businesses. She has a wide sector portfolio with experience gained, most recently in high growth Technology businesses, as well as healthcare, online gaming, telecommunications, retail and car rental.

Cathryn has a strong belief in harnessing and developing the Employer Brand and Employee Life Cycle (just as you would your Customer Brand) which gives a strong competitive advantage – through your people. She firmly believes that supporting businesses to understand where HR can really add commercial value and drive employee engagement is key to unlocking organizational success and increased financial performance.

Cathryn brings high energy and a pragmatic approach to her work, with strong experience in developing and coaching business leaders through times of change. She enjoys building and developing relationships with key stakeholders and working collaboratively to achieve results. Topped with being particularly passionate about Customer Service having worked supporting many Customer Service Businesses throughout her career.

With a Masters degree in HR Management, Cathryn is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
