John is a highly commercial and solutions focused HR Generalist. With over 25 years’ experience spanning several business sectors including engineering, foodservice, hospitality and facilities management.
He brings to the table, clear and pragmatic technical support combined with strategic insight. John has finely honed skills in coaching and relationship-building. He is equally at home on the shop-floor as he is in the Boardroom, combining tenacity with compassion and humour.
In his last corporate role with OCS, he was responsible for over 17,000 employees in Facilities Services as well as UK responsibility for Leadership and Talent Development. His proudest achievement was the design and implementation of a senior executive development programme that launched in the UK and subsequently – globally.
He has extensive experience working with and supporting SME’s either side of large corporate roles with Whitbread, Compass Group and BAE Systems. He is a great believer that irrespective of size, business success and sustainable growth can only be achieved through the attitude, alignment and a sense of common purpose of its people.
John is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, member of the British Psychological Society and has an MBA completed part-time through the Open University.
