Mark has over 20 years experience, focused on managing, developing and leading teams that can deliver an organisation’s vision. Mark’s expertise is in leading change and business transformations, helping people succeed on the journey, or look positively and constructively for alternative options. Acting as a trusted advisor to clients who are transforming their organisations, Mark provides extensive business, HR expertise, coaching and practical advice in dealing with the real issues affecting people and how they perform in organisations.
Mark has worked with small and large clients and operates across Transport, Financial Services, Media and Retail. Companies Mark has worked for include: Eurotunnel, Old Mutual, BBC Television, John Lewis, Imtech Traffic and Infra. Mark’s natural style is open, practical and objective and clients always appreciate that Mark delivers exceptional results. Mark has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by owners and leaders and has a challenging approach to enabling and sustaining high levels of performance in organisations, teams and individuals.
Recent project deliverables include:
– Coaching support to senior team in managing employee relations’ engagement within a union environment to deliver a de-layered organisation with a revised career pathway for its staff.
– Established new performance & reward management systems to refocus teams to meet new revenue and profit objectives.
– Delivered a “brilliant basics” cultural change programme that improved staff attitude to routine tasks that enabled first class service delivery that enabled business challenge and partnering activities
He is a fellow of the CIPD and has studied at the CIPD psychology of change, leadership and organisational effectiveness. Mark enjoys cycling and watching football in his spare time; but his passion is cooking and eating out!
