Jo is an experienced People and Culture leader with more than 20 years’ global experience across technology, financial services, telecoms, manufacturing and retail. Combining strategic insight with hands on delivery, Jo helps leaders turn their people ambitions into practical, measurable outcomes.

With a career shaped by senior HR leadership roles at Microsoft, Barclays, HBOS, Tesco, Associated British Foods and Orange, Jo also brings extensive board‑level experience gained across multiple organisations.
Following her successful corporate career, Jo has worked as an independent HR consultant, bringing her expertise in people strategy, leadership development and coaching to a wide range of organisations – from large global corporates to fast growing SMEs and family run businesses. Her work spans organisational design, culture and leadership transformation, and 1:1 coaching for senior HR professionals navigating complex challenges.
Jo has led award winning recruitment initiatives and was an early pioneer of flexible working at scale, long before it became mainstream. She is known for building trust quickly, creating strong relationships at every level, and shaping environments where people and businesses can thrive.
With a CIPD qualification and a Postgraduate Certificate in HRM & Psychology, alongside training in psychotherapy and counselling, Jo brings a rare blend of commercial acumen and deep psychological insight. She has a particular strength in helping individuals and leadership teams unlock barriers to performance and work more effectively together. She is also an accredited practitioner in Insights Discovery and Hogan Assessments, supporting leaders and teams to build self awareness, collaboration and high performance.
Alongside her professional work, Jo is an Ambassador and Trainer for domestic abuse education in the workplace, helping organisations better understand, recognise and respond to domestic abuse. She has recently spoken in Parliament as part of her commitment to raising awareness and driving meaningful societal change.
Based in Lincolnshire, near the Georgian town of Stamford, Jo lives with her two children and her Cavapoo. Her passion for creating engaging, fair and high performing workplaces runs through everything she does.
