Here at People Puzzles one of our fastest growing services is providing HR Mentors to help and support existing junior and middle-level HR staff in businesses with the aim to mentor, upskill and provide sounding boards to staff who may lack the knowledge and or confidence to handle an increasingly difficult workload in a rapidly changing business landscape.
Our People Directors all come from Best Practice HR companies such as Tesco, John Lewis, Arup, BT and are used to a demanding workload. They have all managed large, complex HR teams and have had to deal with the vast majority of difficult people issues. However, they have now chosen to take a step back and make a bigger difference applying that expertise to SME businesses.
Generally working 1-3 days per month they will provide that support and reassurance to HR teams and be there to handle difficult scenarios, such as complex Employee Relations Issues and helping establish an internal Management Development Programme for middle managers.
As your business grows or takes on new challenges such as mergers and acquisitions, your HR team may become overstretched. Rather than taking on an expensive long-term resource, the flexibility of our HR Support may give you access to additional skills, expertise, or simply another pair of hands.
