The perfect blend of work and play – meet People Director Andy Craig
Working as a fractional People Director has enabled Andy Craig to enjoy his sporting passions to the full whilst continuing to work with C-suite teams in strategic roles.
In what way has People Puzzles helped you to thrive?
It has allowed me to work with new tools that I hadn’t previously used like Disc work, the Lencioni Five Behaviours and many more. I have really enjoyed working with the strategic models that People Puzzles has to help businesses grow. This has enhanced my knowledge and enabled me to thrive.
Have you had one stand out moment when you have felt lucky to work with People Puzzles?
Probably when I was running a Five Behaviours workshop for the senior leadership team at Cats Protection. I really enjoyed the role and so it felt like a standout.
What have you found most meaningful about your work with People Puzzles and their clients?
Doing strategy work has been very meaningful. I find it particularly rewarding when I am helping companies develop their vision, values and strategy.
What areas are you passionate about outside of your work?
I am passionate about sport, both watching it and participating. I am a keen mountaineer, skier and tennis player. I also enjoy going to the theatre. Having a part-time role, has enabled me to have more time to enjoy those sports and activities.
What excites you most about the next 5 years of your career with People Puzzles?
I am looking forward to helping companies develop their business strategy and follow it through to fruition. A lot of clients have a long-term outlook with 5 & 10 year business plans and so it is rewarding and satisfying to see them through the whole process.
