Mark is a board level, award-winning HR Director and Business Change leader with over 20 years’ experience working in customer focused B2B and B2C senior positions within a wide variety of complex and challenging organisations and leadership teams at various stages of their evolution.

He takes a leading role in improving the experiences and lives of those people working within businesses with his collaborative, supportive and coaching style.
Mark’s style is straightforward, with a strong sense of fun. He likes to keep things simple and gets to understand businesses and their people quickly, building strong relationships.
Mark’s career did not start in HR but as a Civil Engineer (as which he remains qualified). Through managing a number of significant people and business change initiatives, he followed his passion in developing his technical skills in project management, managing change and problem solving through the lens of the people agenda in businesses.
Mark has worked for a variety of SMEs, PEs and corporates in the utility, civil engineering, subcontractor, housebuilding, distribution and manufacturing sectors. These included Balfour Beatty, Thames Water, Mclaren Construction, Global Marine, TfL, Nexus infrastructure and Countryside Properties.
He was also approached to be a people expert mentor for construction SMEs in the Anglia region under the i-Construct government funded scheme.
Mark is a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, a Chartered Manager and management consultant and a Member of the Institute of Civil Engineers.
