People Puzzles appoints new Regional Director for South Central

People Puzzles – the HR experts who help ambitious business leaders create high-performing teams and grow their businesses – are continuing to expand across England, appointing a new Regional Director for South Central area of the country.

Tim Ponsford has spent many years helping businesses develop their leadership and workforce needs. He spent six and a half years on the senior leadership team at Vistage, expanding the company’s UK presence and providing an ongoing platform of learning and development for the organisation’s executive coaches.

Prior to that he co-founded ‘Apprentices for Business‘ – Hampshire’s first Apprenticeship Training Agency – having already spent several years building apprenticeship partnerships at Sparsholt College in Winchester.

These roles have already given Tim a unique insight into the many businesses inside the new People Puzzles region – which spans Dorset through to Slough west to east; and Southampton and Portsmouth in the south up to the M4 corridor.

Tim is looking forward to working with business leaders across the spectrum of industries represented in the region – from manufacturing to maritime, aerospace to leisure. He is keenly aware of the challenges they currently face. ‘Many businesses are still battling supply chain and staffing shortages – as well as adapting to post-pandemic remote or hybrid working,’ he says. ‘People Puzzles can help overcome recruitment challenges by making businesses an attractive proposition to both new recruits and current staff.’
