In the first part of his career, Adrian worked primarily in FTSE 100 or Fortune 500 companies, including: PepsiCo, GEC, Shell, Prudential, Smiths Group, Cable and Wireless and Rank Xerox, in HR Director roles.
Following on from his successful corporate career, for the past 14 years, Adrian has worked as an Executive HR interim in privately and publicly owned, and PE backed high growth businesses. Adrian has focused on creating the talent strategy, driving culture and purpose, being a change leader and trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Team. Recent assignments have included supporting a crypto currency start up in the UAE and a recruitment start up in the UK, rolling up his sleeves to achieve results.
Adrian has supported businesses to improve engagement and retention through redesign of organisation structure, clarification of accountabilities, salary and benefits structure design and structured training programmes. He is confident establishing new HR functions as well as streamlining existing operations to increase productivity and profit.
Looking back on his career to date, Adrian would consider some of his key achievements as the design of business strategy and aligning people strategy to achieve fourfold growth and 25% improvement margin over a three year period, as well as improving leadership capability through training, coaching, mentoring and succession planning leading to a 29% increase in performance.
