Summary
Beverley is a commercially focused, pragmatic HR Director interested in sharing her experience and expertise to help organisations achieve their business vision via great leadership and people management.
With over 25 years business experience delivering strategic and operational HR in Corporate and growing SME organisations across a range of sectors, Beverley’s work is based on the ethos that good people management facilitates great business performance.
In her corporate career she initially worked domestically with the leading international pharmaceutical organisation, Abbott Laboratories where she had early experience in sales, training and sales management before changing direction to HR. Having successfully lead sales and HR teams at Abbott she moved to the pharma/biotech organisation, Serono, initially as UK HR & Development Director and then expanded her responsibility to Northern Europe.
Having built up considerable HR and business experience Beverley has set up and run her own HR consultancy and delivered a range of projects for large companies including Mace Group, MTC Novo, Chubb Electronic Security, CBRE (UK & EMEA), Access Storage, Alfred McAlpine, Mace Group. She also worked with mid and small companies including Basilea Pharma, Trammell Crow, Generate UK, Gedeon Richter UK, providing regular part-time and ad hoc HR consultancy support.
Throughout her career Beverley has worked with a variety of business leaders; Owner managers, CEO’s, Boards and Senior leadership teams and has had responsibility for internal communication, ESG, payroll, facilities, as well as responsibility for the more typical people functions. She has helped organisations change, restructure and transform successfully.
Getting to understand businesses and their people quickly is a strength and Beverley is passionate about helping companies to engage with their employees and enable them to enjoy their work and deliver their best performance.
