Caroline’s approach as a HR leader is pragmatic and down to earth. She enjoys linking vision and strategy to practical people initiatives that drive performance, engage employees, and enable businesses to scale & grow.
She’s held senior HR positions with corporates including Sage, GE & Booking.com. As well as worked with SME’s such Zen Internet & Beauty Bay.com, where she shaped and delivery their people strategies to enable them to achieve ambitious growth plans while ensuring they take employees with them on the journey.
Caroline recently enjoyed the challenge of working with the leadership team of an SME on an important change and transformation project where she worked with them to embed their culture, review their organisation structure & job design, and put in place scalable HR practices.
Another of her achievements was taking Zen Internet to 56th position in the Best Companies survey. She then moved them to 44th place with the help of a holistic People Plan which addressed challenges in the areas of pay, benefits, communication & leadership.
Caroline is experienced working with senior stakeholders, Owner MD’s, CEO’s & their Executive Teams. Her skill set extends beyond the typical people functions of; resourcing, performance & talent management, reward, L&D, and HR operations to include payroll, internal communications, and facilities.
Caroline has BA Business Administration and Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management both from University of Northumbria.
