He is an experienced senior executive with a proven and successful background in leadership and strategy, organisational and leadership development, sales and business development, corporate partnerships, coaching, L&D and talent management.
Summary
Most recently Tim has spent seven years with a global PE-backed private-sector business, primarily working in sales and business development. He has successfully worked with regional and national SMEs to help them identify their leadership and workforce development needs, providing tailored solutions to enable them to grow and scale.
Tim was a member of the Vistage UK-IRL senior leadership team with responsibility for the inception and implementation of global and local strategies to support the growth plans of the UK operation. Tim led on providing an ongoing platform of learning and development for Vistage Chairs (executive coaches), coaching, guiding and supporting them to enable them to enhance their skills and to participate in a journey of continuous improvement and growth.
Tim also has a strong background in training and education and has spent fifteen years in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
Having worked in further and higher education for many years Tim has a comprehensive knowledge of employer-led, work based training. He was a co-founder of ‘Apprentices for Business’, Hampshire’s first Apprenticeship Training Agency, which supported the economic growth of local businesses whilst creating hundreds of new jobs and career opportunities for young people. Key clients included CooperVision, Norma UK Ltd, Hampshire Chambers of Commerce, Meantime Brewery, UK Houses of Parliament and many local authorities and NHS Trusts. This initiative was supported and endorsed by the National Apprenticeship Service and Local Enterprise Partnerships (LEPs).
Tim has managed seven-figure budgets and multimillion pound government funded contracts. He likes to think he helped to inspire and develop the many wonderful people he has had the privilege of working with!
